Even though Audi’s recognizable lines, 2016 Audi A9 Prologue surprising its sporty lines. It is hard to believe that the designers have decided to transform their highest luxury sedan into a sports car, with a two-door coupe.

Also, the “Prologue” has a function that allows the auto detects the driver via a signal that he sends his mobile phone. This feature allows the driver to adjust the mirrors, seat, navigation devices, and more before you even get into the car.

Seats reflect the luxury and a special curiosity  are the headrests, which are so constructed that they can be automatically lifted when the passenger sits in the back seat and lowered when you get out of the car, in order not to disturb the the transparency of backwards.

Engine Specs and Performance

2016 Audi A9 Prologue is powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 makes 445 kW (605 horsepower ) and 750 Nm (553.2 lb-ft) of torque. This is the same engine that drives the A6, A7 and S8 models as well as some Bentley models.  However, none of the above models produce as much “juice” as the A9 will.

The gearbox is eight-speed torque-converter automatic, the transmission transmits power to all four wheels , in which the rear wheels can turn up to five degrees, makes the “Prologue” extremely responsive and stable while driving.

Audi coupe weighs 1.98 tons and from 0 -60 mph is achieved in 3.7 seconds. The vehicle’s top speed has been limited to 155 mph like other Audi fast cars.  The vehicle is also estimated to deliver a fuel economy of around 26 mpg which again is quite impressive for its size. The coupe will also feature other engines later on but none will be more potent than this 4.0 L twin turbo.

The reason why 2016 Audi Prologue turns with a mild hybrid is a new electrical system of 48 volts.

Price and Release date

This masterpiece in terms of design should be presented in late 2016, and the start of production is expected by spring 2017. Along with the standard V6, V8 and four-cylinder petrol and diesel versions, is also expected to 12 W motor. It is assumed that the price will be of roughly from $ 120,000 to $ 140,000 which will place it above the Mercedes S Class.
